How much do you charge?
The Marc Enkin Band is available as a duet, trio up to an eight-piece band. We often start the event as a trio, adding in musicians later in the event to give the music more prominence. Please fill out the Marc Enkin Band Quote Form. Then e-mail us, so we can provide you with an accurate quote. Please include the date of the event, start time, the duration of performance, plus the location and venue. Please advise us as to whether the event is outdoors (rain-sun shelter required); whether sound equipment is required (small fee for a p.a. system set-up); and whether you need the musicians to move from one location to another; there is a cartage fee for any moves during the contracted time.
How far in advance do I need to book?
Just as banquet halls get booked long in advance, so do musicians. The more lead time you give us, the more choice you’ll have.
When will the band set up, and tear down?
We typically arrive at an event an hour before the performance is scheduled to begin. Set-up usually takes about 45 minutes. The band will tear down immediately following the performance.
Will the band take any breaks?
We take a fifteen-minute break after every hour of performance.
I’ve decided to hire you for my event. What next?
Once you have decided to book a band, we will send a contract for you to sign. This will outline the performance details that have been agreed on.
What forms of payment do you accept, and how?
We accept cheque (to “Marc Enkin Music”), cash, or e-transfer. We require a fifty percent deposit and a signed contract, with the balance owing at the end of the performance.
